Xplor Newcastle

Virtual Tours North East provided technology giant Xplor Technologies, Newcastle with a digital twin and virtual tour of there completed CAT-B office fitout (design by Neil Sedgley at 5 EDGE Architectural Design Services 2021-2022). The 12,000sq.ft. office is located within the city center next to the main line central train station.

The completed tour provided Xplor with a digital twin of their space which is used as part of the construction record information documentation. The tour provides visitors and staff with a wayfinding tool illustrating workstation and meeting room locations. Facility’s management can dimension spaces remotely and access the building virtually from anywhere in the world 24/7. The digital twin model of the space provides a visual record for insurance purposes as well as record of how the office should be maintained.

Hot desking staff from other offices within Xplor are able to see the office and locate where they can sit from their phone.
